36. Translating Ethics - The Role of Language in Value Transmission
Language, more than a communicative tool, is the cultural DNA of humanity. It preserves, propagates, and personalizes values across generations. This paper examines the dynamic interplay between language and value transmission by exploring sacred texts, oral traditions, cultural idioms, and the implications of linguistic evolution in the digital age. Through this exploration, the paper highlights how values are linguistically encoded and argues that our ethical awareness depends significantly on how we preserve and use language.
