TUBERCULOSIS – A GLOBAL HEALTH BURDEN
Using qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods approaches in several global locations, this study examines the socioeconomic effects of tuberculosis (TB) on children and adolescents. The results demonstrate the substantial financial, educational, and psychological strains that impacted people and their families must endure. Direct expenses like treatment and indirect consequences like lost pay are part of the financial strain, and the difficulties are made worse by stigma and disruptions in education. In order to lessen these consequences, the research highlights the necessity of integrated support systems.
