Evaluating the Success of WHO's Primary Health Care Strategies in Rural Regions of Foreign Countries
Primary health care (PHC) serves as the cornerstone of equitable healthcare delivery, especially in rural and underserved regions. The World Health Organization (WHO) has played a pivotal role in promoting PHC strategies to enhance access, efficiency, and community participation in foreign countries. This article evaluates the implementation and success of WHO-led PHC initiatives in rural areas, with case studies from Bangladesh, Ethiopia, and Kyrgyzstan. These programs have demonstrated significant improvements in maternal and child health, immunization rates, and health education. However, challenges such as funding gaps and workforce shortages persist. Strengthening PHC in rural regions remains essential for achieving universal health coverage
