Electronic Spin-Dependent Dynamics through the Lens of Angular Momentum Exchange. II. Insights from a Model System
This repository contains the full dataset and Python code used to generate all figures, main text and supplementary, for the article “Electronic Spin-Dependent Dynamics through the Lens of Angular Momentum Exchange. II. Insights from a Model System” by Martin Van Horn, Twana Cheragwandi and Nanna Holmgaard List (DOI forthcoming). The study explores angular momentum transfer between electrons and nuclei in a one-electron Jahn–Teller triatomic model, using the adiabatic Born–Huang ansatz with and without spin–orbit coupling. The data are organized into scenario-specific folders corresponding to different spin–orbit coupling strengths, spin orientations, and initial conditions (including vibronic angular momentum injection). A plotting.ipynb notebook is provided to regenerate all figures directly from the saved wavefunction data. Contents: Wavefunction snapshots stored as .npy files Python scripts for propagation and visualization A Jupyter notebook for figure reproduction Detailed folder structure and usage instructions This dataset enables full reproducibility of the figures in the publication and supports further exploration of non-adiabatic dynamics in spin-dependent systems.
