Experimental Investigation and Poly Ester Composites Reinforced with Short Fibers Obtained from Poultry Quil Materials

Utilizing and assessing the mechanical qualities of chicken feather reinforced with polyester and phenol ester composites is the aim of this study. Chicken feather fibers (CFF) were cleaned, tested, and examined for physical characteristics such as linear density and tensile behavior before the composites were made. The unidirectional CFF reinforced composites were produced with phenyl ester and polyester resins with fibre reinforced composites; to determine tensile, flexural and compressive test. It was found that the compressive properties of the CFF reinforced composites are significantly better than the control composites however both the tensile and the flexural properties of the CFF reinforced composites have poorer values compared to the control composites. They had three times better than compressive and tensile properties then compare phenyl ester and polyester test performance. Because of its enhanced behavior, the CFF reinforced composite has prospective uses. If the poultry waste can be utilized and used any engineering applications, they will be preferred due to low-cost and superior characteristics and the most importantly they will not cause ecological and health problems.
