Secure Voting System Using Ethereum Blockchain

Electronic voting systems play a critical role in modern democracies but are often challenged by security threats, lack of transparency, and data tampering risks. This paper proposes a secure and transparent electronic voting system based on the Ethereum blockchain to overcome the limitations of traditional voting methods. By utilizing smart contracts, the system ensures immutability, decentralization, and integrity of votes without relying on a centralized authority. The proposed solution enables secure voter authentication, vote confidentiality, and transparent result computation while preventing double voting and tampering. The paper details the architecture, implementation using smart contracts, and integration with a decentralized front-end. This blockchain-based approach significantly enhances trust, security, and transparency in the voting process, offering a viable framework for future electronic elections.
