A Study on Progress Made in Quantum Teleportation
Abstract: Quantum teleportation was initially postulated by C. H. Bennett, G. Brassard, C.Crépeau, R. Jozsa, A. Peres, and W. K. Wootters in 1993 and was experimentally realized in1997. Since 1997, experimental quantum teleportation has been done up to a distance of1400km. Currently, it is one of the most significant protocols in quantum information processingand quantum technology. By Bell-state measurement, quantum teleportation leads to thenonlocal transmission of another quantum state which is unknown. Quantum teleportation is alsothe foundation of quantum computing, which is going to surpass classical computing. Thisreview paper provides a unified framework for understanding quantum teleportation, itsoperation and put an insight into its transformative potential for secure communication andquantum networks. A special focus has been done on the perspective of Quantum teleportationby using squeezed state of photons. Additionally, we also reviewed the role of squeezed states ofphotons in enhancing teleportation efficiency and reducing decoherence effects. Ultimately, itidentifies existing challenges and future research directions and provides insight into thedevelopment of this transformative quantum technology.
