CLINICAL AND NEUROPHYSIOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY IN PATIENTS WITH TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS

The aim of this thesis is to investigate the clinical presentation and neurophysiological characteristics of peripheral neuropathy in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), and to evaluate the relationship between disease duration, glycemic control, and the severity of neuropathic manifestations. Early identification and precise classification of diabetic neuropathy is essential for preventing progression and improving patient outcomes.
