CREATIVITY AND PRESCHOOL AGE: PEDAGOGICAL APPROACHES AND PSYCHOLOGICAL MECHANISMS

This article explores the specific features of developing creative abilities in preschool children, as well as the psychological and pedagogical factors necessary for organizing such activities effectively. It analyzes the conditions, methodological approaches, and the role of the preschool educator in fostering children's thinking, imagination, and emotional development. Based on psychological and pedagogical studies, the article highlights how encouraging interest in creative activity, granting children freedom, and providing support can lead to significant achievements. Furthermore, the “Sun in the Room” method is examined as an example of integrating a child’s imaginative world with real-life situations. The findings demonstrate the potential for developing essential personal qualities in children, such as independent thinking, self-evaluation, patience, and self-awareness — all of which are crucial for creative development.
