Versioned Archive and Review of Biotic Interactions and Taxon Names Found within osmiddleton/CarniDIET-Database hash://md5/ddf9e61341c3d6691c4e9126208be5ce

Life on Earth is sustained by complex interactions between organisms and their environment. These biotic interactions can be captured in datasets and published digitally. We present a review and archiving process for such an openly accessible digital interactions dataset of known origin and discuss its outcome. The dataset under review, named osmiddleton/CarniDIET-Database, has fingerprint hash://md5/ddf9e61341c3d6691c4e9126208be5ce, is 24.6MiB in size and contains 29,072 interactions with 1 unique type of association (e.g., eats) between 103 primary taxa (e.g., Vulpes_vulpes) and 1,224 associated taxa (e.g., Birds). This report includes detailed summaries of interaction data, a taxonomic review from multiple catalogs, and an archived version of the dataset from which the reviews are derived.
