Quantum Evolution in Curved Spacetime: A Covariant Framework for Gravitational Time Asymmetry

This working paper proposes a covariant theoretical framework for quantum evolution in curved spacetime, founded on the operational distinction between global coordinate time and local proper time. By reformulating Schrödinger and Lindblad-type master equations in terms of proper time, the model predicts gravitationally induced decoherence, entanglement dephasing, and interference loss—effects that emerge even in weak gravitational fields. The framework integrates semiclassical backreaction, relativistic time dilation, and open quantum system dynamics. It aims to bridge conceptual gaps between general relativity and quantum mechanics through experimentally accessible predictions. This is the first public version of the hypothesis, establishing authorship and inviting critical engagement prior to formal peer review.
