ChronoDrive: A Time-Based Framework for Relativistically Consistent FTL Travel
ChronoDrive presents a practical propulsion framework based on engineered time dilation fields, enabling effective faster-than-light (FTL) travel without violating the principles of general relativity. By generating localized time distortion through precisely phased gravitational wave analogues, a ChronoDrive-equipped craft experiences accelerated internal time while external time flows more slowly. This results in an apparent superluminal traversal from an outside frame of reference, without the need for exotic matter or spatial contraction. A proposed small-scale experiment involving high-velocity neutral particles is included to test for field-induced time gradient effects.
