Phytochemical and Antibacterial Analysis of D. Hamiltonii Parts against Gram-Positive and Gram-Negative Bacteria
Abstract This research looks at the antibacterial activity and phytochemical makeup of several portions of the traditionally used medicinal herb Decalepis hamiltonii. Many infections can be caused by bacteria, and this study aims to determine whether the plant can resist both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Phytochemical screening was performed on many D. hamiltonii extracts (root, stem, and leaf) to detect bioactive components including alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and phenolics. Phytochemical components and antibacterial activity of plant extracts from roots, leaves, and stems are the focus of the current work. We tested a methylolic extract of several plant sections for antibacterial activity and phytochemical content. In order to identify these tasks, we used modified versions of established methods
