O MEIO AMBIENTE DIGITAL NO COMBATE À PANDEMIAS. EXPERIÊNCIAS COM O COVID-19 E PERSPECTIVAS FUTURAS
In a globally connected world, the digital environment is one of the main tools for fighting pandemics. However, the experience of applying digital media during the Covid-19 pandemic showed the unpreparedness of practically all countries, even developed ones, in the face of the lack of coordination between government and society. Technological unpreparedness in the face of a possible pandemic had already been publicly exposed in 2015. The present study proposes: Analyzing the international digital experience with the Covid-19 pandemic; analyze whether the world is prepared for a new pandemic from a digital point of view and study past mistakes and Brazil's prospects for future pandemics from a digital point of view. The method of documentary, exploratory and bibliographical analysis based on scientific articles, comparative legislation and data from federal bodies such as the Ministry of Health is applied to the present study. After a comparative analysis, the result reveals that both Brazil and other countries developing as well as developed countries are not digitally prepared for a new pandemic.
