Blockchain for Data Security in Data Analysis
Abstract: In the age of big data, ensuring data security and integrity during data analysis has become a critical concern. Traditional centralized data storage and processing systems are vulnerable to breaches, tampering, and unauthorized access. Blockchain technology, with its decentralized and immutable ledger system, presents a promising solution to these challenges. This paper explores the integration of blockchain for enhancing data security in data analysis processes. By leveraging cryptographic techniques, distributed consensus mechanisms, and smart contracts, blockchain can provide secure data provenance, prevent unauthorized data modifications, and enhance trust among data stakeholders. The study examines various blockchain-based frameworks and use cases in sectors such as healthcare, finance, and supply chain analytics, highlighting how blockchain can reinforce data confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Challenges related to scalability, performance, and regulatory compliance are also discussed, along with potential solutions. This work contributes to the growing body of research aimed at combining blockchain with data analytics to create secure, transparent, and trustworthy analytical ecosystems.
