PERSONALIZED SURGICAL MANAGEMENT OF CRANIOSYNOSTOSIS IN CHILDREN USING ADVANCED MSCT MORPHOMETRY AND RISK STRATIFICATION MODELS
This study evaluates the effectiveness of a personalized approach to surgical treatment of craniosynostosis using enhanced MSCT morphometric protocols and risk stratification. A total of 120 pediatric patients aged 2 to 24 months were examined. Morphometric algorithms based on 14 key cranial parameters enabled precise classification of craniosynostosis types. Risk models identified high-risk patients with a preoperative neurological deficit rate of 18.7%. Radiation dose optimization led to a 35% dose reduction (average CTDIvol: 11.4 mGy). Surgical outcomes improved significantly with this approach, showing a 91.7% rate of excellent cosmetic results and a neurological improvement rate of 85% after 12 months.
