Unraveling Quantum Mechanics
Quantum mechanics is a successful theory in physics that describes the behavior of subatomic particles, but still it is surrounded by mystery. Although several mysterious behaviors of this theory have been proven through experiments and it is being used in technology, Einstein referred to it as 'incomplete'. Various attempts were made to complete it (e.g., the 'hidden variable theory'), but they failed. In fact, nothing important has been left out; rather, our understanding is limited, and we are not being allowed to know. As a result, unlike in everyday physics, we can't say 'it will happen'; rather, we can say 'it may happen'. In this article, we will explore the basics of quantum mechanics and analyze some of its mysteries, such as superposition, and wave function, while acknowledging its limitations.
