The article discusses the phenomenon of Artificial Intelligence and provides the history of the emergence of this concept. The author presents various definitions of this term and, as a result of the study, some problems in this area are identified as well as the positive aspects of Artificial Intelligence are highlighted. At the same time, much attention in this research work is paid to the importance of the role of Artificial Intelligence in the future of humanity.
