SAVINGS GRADIENT AS AN INSTRUMENT OF ANALYSIS. CASE STUDY: QUIBDÓ, COLOMBIA
Urban evolution faces numerous challenges, with the integration of transport infrastructure and rapid population and vehicular growth being a primary concern. To address this issue, cities must formulate and strengthen strategies for implementing new road structures and adapting existing ones. This study proposes a comprehensive territorial accessibility analysis to evaluate the interventions outlined in the Integral Mobility Plan for the City of Quibdó, projected for 2045. The research methodology incorporates: i) Geostatistical models to assess spatial patterns and relationships; ii) Integration of socioeconomic variables to understand the broader urban context; iii) Utilization of advanced computational tools for data analysis and visualization. The analysis aims to assess the effectiveness of proposed interventions in improving overall urban accessibility; identify potential gaps or areas for improvement in the mobility plan; evaluate the alignment of proposed changes with socioeconomic factors and community needs; and provide data-driven insights to support informed decision-making in urban planning. By combining spatial analysis with socioeconomic considerations, this research seeks to contribute to the development of a more efficient, equitable, and sustainable urban transport network for Quibdó, addressing both current needs and future growth projections.
