Abstract: In the era of digital transformation, tourism marketing has evolved beyond traditional methods, embracing digital innovation to effectively engage and attract modern travellers. This paper delves into the role of digital tools and platforms in reshaping the tourism marketing landscape, with a particular focus on how these innovations impact visitor engagement. As consumers increasingly turn to online platforms for travel inspiration and decision-making, tourism marketing strategies have adapted to leverage social media, mobile apps, websites, and interactive technologies to reach global audiences. The study explores key digital innovations such as virtual reality (VR) experiences, influencer marketing, user- generated content, and real-time customer feedback systems, examining their influence on consumer behaviour and engagement. Furthermore, it investigates the shift from one-way communication to interactive, personalized marketing, where visitors are encouraged to actively participate in the creation and sharing of content. The paper also highlights the challenges tourism marketers face in this digital age, including the need for data privacy, balancing personalization with privacy concerns, and ensuring sustainable practices. Ultimately, this paper emphasizes how digital innovation is not only enhancing visitor engagement but also redefining the future of tourism marketing in a connected world.
