(OPTG) The Ontological Polarity of Time, Gravity, and the Illusion of Anti-Gravity (SF Physics Report 002 v1.0)

Building on SF Physics Report 001’s “time ontological polarity” hypothesis, this revised Report 002 proposes that gravity itself splits into two domains: a real-time sector (with mass, energy, and curvature) and an imaginary-time sector (massless, energy-free, nonlocal). Apparent “anti-gravity” is explained not by negative mass but by a transient mass reduction when particles briefly enter imaginary time. Boundary interference between real- and imaginary-time wavefunctions gives rise to quantization of mass and the illusion of repulsive gravity. In this expanded version, we have: Added a step-by-step derivation showing how an “imaginary velocity” ($v_{i}=i,u$) drives effective mass to zero in the imaginary-time domain. Provided a formal boundary-matching model (with explicit equations and illustrative Figure 1) that explains how real- and imaginary-time wavefunctions interfere to produce discrete mass (or energy) eigenvalues. Introduced Table 1 to compare gravity’s lack of sign-reversal (“polarity”) with the true bipolarity of electromagnetic and nuclear forces. Included a detailed discussion showing why true “anti-gravity” cannot exist—gravity’s “charge” (mass) can only vanish in imaginary time, not flip sign. Added concrete “Future Directions” with four specific research avenues: complexified metric modeling, numerical N-body simulations with imaginary-time branching, philosophical implications for causality, and thought experiments/VR visualizations. SF Physics is a new genre blending speculative fiction and theoretical physics. This report is a creative, non–peer-reviewed contribution intended to inspire interdisciplinary dialogue among physicists, philosophers, writers, and anyone curious about “what if?” It is not a final, rigorously tested theory but a seed for imaginative inquiry at the edges of scientific plausibility.
