A guide to selecting high-performing antibodies for STXBP1 (UniProt ID: P61764) for use in western blot, immunoprecipitation, and immunofluorescence

A peer-reviewed antibody characterization article corresponding to this Zenodo preprint is openly available at F1000Research: https://doi.org/10.12688/f1000research.160174.1 This report presents a guide to selecting high-quality commercial antibodies against STXBP1 in Western blot, immunoprecipitation and immunofluorescence, using a standardized experimental protocol based on comparing read-outs in knockout cell lines and isogenic parental controls. This study was funded in part by the Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI), an organization that funds innovative research to enhance the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorders.
