Code and Data related to "An exact active sensing strategy for a class of bio-inspired systems"

This repository contains the code and simulated dataset used to generate the figures in the manuscript:"An Exact Active Sensing Strategy for a Class of Bio-Inspired Systems"Debojyoti Biswas, Eduardo D. Sontag, Noah J. Cowan,European Journal of Control, ECC 2025 Special Edition. All simulations were performed using MATLAB R2023b (MathWorks). The function names are self-explanatory—for example, run fig3.m to generate Figure 3.For the numerical computation of the Domain of Attraction (DoA), we provide numerical data for individual initial times t_0, ranging from 0° to 350° in 10° increments. The code DOA_computation.m was used for this purpose (user need to change "Phi_array" value at line 17). All the simulated data is included in the zipped file DOA_data.zip. Additionally, the union and intersection of all individual DoAs are provided in DOA_data_comb.zip. The code intersect_union_DOA.m was used for this purpose. Users can directly use fig5B.m with the .mat files provided in DOA_data_comb.zip.
