Topography of Xrealism®: From Freud's Psyche to the Conscioperceptual Unit (CPUₙ) - Topika Xrealizma: Od Freudove psihe do svjesnoopažajne jedinice (CPUₙ)
Ladislav Gradečak – Xrealism® 📘 Google Scholar 🧬 ORCID 📚 ResearchGate 🌐 ladgrad.github.io 💼 about.me/ladislavg In psychoanalytic tradition, topography refers to a model of the spatial organization of the psyche. Freud introduced two such models: the first distinguishes between the unconscious, preconscious, and conscious; the second incorporates the dynamics between the Id, Ego, and Superego. These 'topoi' are not literal spaces, but functional domains that collectively describe a structure for handling experience, desire, repression, and reality. Xrealism affirms the need for a functional model of inner dynamics but shifts the structure entirely. Instead of stratifying the psyche into zones of conscious and repressed material, Xrealism centers on the conscioperceptual unit (CPUₙ) — an operational interface between consciousness (Ψₙ) and perception (Πₙ), functioning within the quintic field 𝕏.
