D6.4 Interim Report on Standardisation Contributions
This document, BeGREEN D6.4, entitled ‘Interim Report on Standardisation Contribution’, reports the standardisation activities and contributions during the first 18-months of the project as well as the next plans. It includes all the standardisation activities related to the promotion of the BeGREEN project and its results beyond the project own community along the mid-term project execution. The reported activities are clustered in two main sections: Standardization activities on identified Standard Development Organizations (SDOs) and Open-Source activities. The Standardization Activities chapter reports on activities related with the key SDOs for beyond 5G and 6G such as 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP), European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN) and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). These activities include monitoring/tracking these SDOs as well as submitting contributions. The Open-Source Activities chapter also reports the monitoring and contribution submission activities on relevant open-source projects. Finally, these two main chapters are followed by the Updated Standardization Plan chapter, where an update to reflect the plan on the rest of the project lifetime is provided. As part of WP6, the plan included here will be complemented by the following deliverables. For each document, the delivery date is also provided: D6.3 Interim Report on Dissemination and Communications: M13 D6.5 Final report on dissemination, impact, and communication: M30
