The usefulness of real materials in improving students' phonological competence has drawn a lot of attention to their usage in language instruction in recent years. This article examines how high school students' phonological abilities may be developed through the use of real resources including podcasts, films, radio programs, and interviews. The study highlights how exposure to a variety of dialects and genuine speech patterns is crucial for enhancing stress patterns, intonation, and pronunciation.
