A Quasi-Experimental Study was conducted at S.V. Memorial College of Nursing in Amritsar, Punjab, to Evaluate the Impact of a Structured Teaching and Demonstration Program on Nursing Student's Knowledge and Practices of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Background: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a life-saving technique that combines chest compressions and rescue breaths to maintain blood circulation and oxygen supply during emergencies like cardiac arrest. Rapid initiation of CPR can significantly increase the chances of survival until professional medical assistance arrives. Aim: This study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of a structured teaching program (STP) on the knowledge regarding CPR among nursing students. Methods: A quasi-experimental study was conducted. A convenient sampling technique was used with a sample size of 60 nursing students. Result and conclusion: The STP was found effective in enhancing the knowledge of nursing students regarding CPR.
