Trends in financial depth in Algeria during the period from 1990-2021

This research paper aims to study the reality of the financial depth of financial intermediation in Algeria by presenting the most critical indicators representing the depth of financial mediation during the period extending from 1990, which was the beginning of financial and monetary reforms, until 2021. We concluded through the movement of these indicators during the study period that financial intermediation still suffers from achieving low rates of financial volume and depth
