Work-Life Balance of Teaching Women Employees in Government Arts College with special reference to Chitradurga district
Abstract: This study examines the work-life balance of female teachers at Government Arts College in Chitradurga. Women in academics face particular difficulties due to the combined weight of their personal and professional obligations. The goals are to find the elements that affect work-life balance, evaluate stress levels, and propose institutional changes. Forty female faculty members provided primary data using a standardized questionnaire. The survey concludes that although most of the faculty are dedicated to their teaching duties, time restraints, a lack of institutional support, and domestic duties cause them a great deal of stress. Workload redistribution, psychological assistance, and the schedule must be convenient for the faculty.
