Dampak FOMO pada Kecemasan Mahasiswa Pengguna Media Sosial
Social media has become an integral part of students' daily lives, facilitating communication, access to information, and social interaction. However, excessive use often leads to dependency, affecting psychological well-being and social behavior. This study investigates the relationship between students' social media dependency, social anxiety, and Fear of Missing Out (FoMO). Using a qualitative descriptive method, the research involved 33 students as questionnaire respondents and three for in-depth interviews. Findings indicate high usage intensity, with an average duration exceeding six hours daily. Social media provides convenience for communication and academic needs but fosters social anxiety and FoMO. The study highlights the necessity of strategic interventions for balanced social media use and psychological well-being
