Qualidade de vida no trabalho: O que pensam os 60+ na Receita Federal do Brasil

The global demographic shift, primarily driven by increased longevity and declining birth rates, is mirrored in Brazil, affecting various societal dimensions, including public organizations. This shift has resulted in greater demand from the state for public policies aimed at protecting the elderly, as well as integrating them into organizations and society. This article examines the Quality of Work Life (QWL) as perceived by employees aged 60 and over in the RFB-2ªRF. The study adopts a critical approach to the analytical categories of QWL, supported by a theoretical-conceptual framework. The methodology is qualitative in nature, employing a case study approach, with data collected through questionnaires and document analysis. The results indicate that QWL is perceived positively by older employees; however, PROQUALI, as an organizational principle, is manifested in welfare-oriented rather than emancipatory actions. Furthermore, the QWL perceptions of employees aged 60 and over do not differ from those of other employees.
