L-31: ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY OF 3D PRINTED THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMERS FOR BIOMEDICAL APPLICATIONS
This study investigates the antibacterial properties of 3D-printed thermoplastic elastomers, specifically designed for biomedical applications. Focusing on resistance against pathogens like Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli, the research explores how these materials can potentially enhance infection control in medical environments. The project is supported by multiple grants, including funding from the Horizon Europe Framework Programme, the Swiss SERI, and UKRI.
