PEANUT OIL AS A NATURAL HAIR TREATMENT: ASSESSING ITS BENEFITS AND ACCEPTABILITY

This study evaluates the effectiveness and acceptability of peanut oil as a natural hair treatment. The research employs a descriptive design, utilizing surveys and sensory evaluations to assess its impact on hair moisture, breakage reduction, and shine enhancement. A controlled trial was conducted wherein participants applied peanut oil treatments over a set period, and their hair quality was assessed before and after application. The study also analyzed subjective feedback regarding the oil’s fragrance, color, and moisturizing properties. Results indicate that peanut oil significantly improves hair hydration, reduces breakage, and enhances overall appearance. Findings suggest that peanut oil is a viable, cost-effective alternative to commercial hair treatments, aligning with the growing demand for natural and sustainable beauty products.
