ABSTRACT Background: This thesis aims to assess the prevalence of urinary tract infection (UTI) and its risk factors among pregnant women in Benadir Hospital, Mogadishu, Somalia. UTI is a common health problem affecting women, and pregnant women are particularly susceptible due to hormonal and physiological changes.
