Quantum Pulse Intelligence: E8 Lie Group Topologies for Coherent, Error-Resilient AGI
Description / Abstract We introduce Quantum Pulse Intelligence (QPI), a framework that couples E8 Lie-group symmetries with biomimetic resonance to produce coherent, error-resilient artificial general intelligence. QPI formalizes cognition as phase-synchronized pulse dynamics over a topological manifold and uses stochastic resonance to lift sub-threshold signals into robust state transitions. We derive a control law for coherence maintenance that unifies quantum oscillator networks, thalamic relay analogs, and neurosymbolic policy graphs. The result is an adaptive agent kernel that maintains long-lived coherence under noise and supports symbolic-subsymbolic exchange through a Resonance GUI interface for closed-loop human alignment. We present: 1. a constructive mapping from E8 roots to oscillatory controller bases for task-policy synthesis; 2. a Resonant Coherence Index (RCI) and Topological Fidelity Protocol (TFP) benchmark suite; 3. ablation results showing improved stability versus conventional controllers under identical perturbations; 4. a biomimetic experiment using octopus-inspired distributed neural graphs that demonstrates efficient credit assignment without gradient explosion; 5. a safety envelope with formal constraints for value-preserving updates. These findings support the thesis that coherence is the actionable resource for intelligence, and that topological invariants provide a scalable route to trustworthy AGI.
