The Dark Matter Delusion

For the past 50 years, physicists have insisted that 85% of the universe is made of a mysterious, invisible substance called dark matter—a hypothetical form of mass that supposedly explains why galaxies don’t rotate the way Newtonian mechanics predicts. But the thing is, they do. As soon as relativistic time dilation is factored in, all paradoxes go away.

Abstract

For the past 50 years, physicists have insisted that 85% of the universe is made of a mysterious, invisible substance called dark matter—a hypothetical form of mass that supposedly explains why galaxies don’t rotate the way Newtonian mechanics predicts. But the thing is, they do. As soon as relativistic time dilation is factored in, all paradoxes go away.
