Policy Paper | Digital solutions to accelerate the bioeconomy transition
While the European Commission has announced the revision of theEU Bioeconomy Strategy, there are still European countries that need to develop their national strategies and startinvesting into bioeconomy as one of the main responses to environmental and biodiversitychallenges. The CEE2ACT project is deploying a bottom-up approach to increase local supportfor national bioeconomy strategies in 10 Central and Eastern European countries. Through anopen dialogue, CEE2ACT connects a diverse coalition of engaged and motivated bioeconomystakeholders, industry players, ministries, and decision makers committed to achieve nationalbioeconomy goals. To facilitate this process, CEE2ACT encourages policy makers to invest in and utilize digitalsolutions that will help them assess the state of bioeconomy in their country and makeknowledge-based decisions on how to develop a tailored national bioeconomy strategy.
