A Novel Architecture using ESP 32 Node MCU of Localization and Tracking of Women and Children

Ensuring the safety of women and children is a growing concern in today’s world. This paper presents a novel architecture for real-time localization and tracking using the ESP32 NodeMCU microcontroller integrated with GPS, Wi-Fi, and IoT-based cloud connectivity. The proposed system utilizes GPS modules for accurate location tracking, Wi-Fi and GSM modules for real-time data transmission, and an IoT-based dashboard for continuous monitoring. The system is designed to be low-cost, energy-efficient, and portable, making it suitable for deployment in various urban and rural settings. Additionally, an SOS emergency alert mechanism is implemented to notify guardians and authorities in case of distress. Experimental results demonstrate the system’s accuracy and reliability in different environments, validating its effectiveness as a smart tracking and security solution.
