Paramegistidae Tragardh 1946

PARAMEGISTIDAE Trägårdh 1946 This family contains 26 species in six genera. Only two species, Promegistus armstrongi Womersley, 1958 and Echinomegistus narvaezi Hyatt, 1964, were found on Passalidae (Womersley 1958b; Hyatt 1964) (Tables 2, 4 and 9). Species from this family only occur accidentally on the Passalidae.
