AI and Intellectual Property: Shaping the future

The word AI means Artificial Intelligence. Today’s world is all about Artificial Intelligence. Nowadays, we often hear the words AI and IP with the recent developments in the field of AI, AI is becoming more useful in various fields like Medical, Education, Agriculture, etc. As a result the younger generation is aspiring to learn more about AI. AI can help financial institutions by improving security, customer service, and financial operations. Machine learning is a discipline of AI that allows machines to learn from data. Thus for all these reasons AI plays a major part in our lives and improving our quality of life. This topic is useful in various walks of our lives and its overall benefit to our country is a major focus of this paper. IP stands for Intellectual Property. IP can be more valuable than a company's physical assets. This paper also talks about IP and it’s usefulness in the field of research. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly intersecting with Intellectual Property (IP) in complex ways. As AI-generated content, inventions, and innovations become more prevalent, traditional IP frameworks are being tested. Key issues include patentability of AI-generated inventions, ownership of AI-created works, and liability for AI-related infringements. The intersection of AI and IP raises questions about authorship, inventorship, and the need for new legal frameworks to address these emerging challenges. For instance, the US Patent and Trademark Office has issued guidelines on AI-generated inventions, while courts grapple with cases involving AI-related copyright and patent disputes. As AI continues to evolve, the relationship between AI and IP will require ongoing examination and adaptation to ensure that innovation is protected and incentivized. Effective management of AI-related IP will be crucial for businesses, creators, and innovators to navigate this rapidly changing landscape. Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the development of computer systems that can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence, such as learning, problem-solving, decision-making, and perception. The present paper is focues on need of Artificial Intelligence & Intellectual Property
