The Role of Natural Micro fungi in Regenerating Soil Fertility
Soil fertility is fundamental to sustainable agriculture and ecosystem balance. Natural microfungi play a crucial role in soil regeneration by enhancing nutrient cycling, decomposing organic matter, improving soil structure, and promoting plant health. This paper explores the biological functions of microfungi, including their role in mycorrhizal associations, biofertilization, and biocontrol mechanisms. A comprehensive literature review highlights recent research on the interactions between microfungi and soil microbiomes. Methodological approaches for studying microfungi, including metagenomic analysis and controlled field experiments, are discussed. Findings demonstrate that microfungi significantly contribute to soil restoration in both organic and conventional farming systems. The paper also outlines implications for business excellence in sustainable agriculture and suggests future research directions to optimize the use of microfungi in soil fertility management.
