Evaluating The Diagnostic Efficacy Of Diffusion Weighted Imaging And Susceptibility Weighted Imaging Sequences In MRI For Detecting Acute Stroke
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) plays a vital role not only in the detection of ischemic lesions but also in various other diagnostic applications. Susceptibility-weighted imaging (SWI) represents a novel approach within the realm of magnetic resonance techniques, focusing on the identification of magnetic susceptibility differences among different tissue types, including iron, blood, and calcifications. The primary objective of this study was to emphasize the significance of incorporating susceptibility-weighted MR images alongside diffusion-weighted images for the purpose of diagnosing acute stroke cases within the brain.
