PARADIGMAL CHANGES IN SOCIAL MOBILITY IN THE CONTEXT OF EXTERNAL MIGRATION
This article provides a scholarly analysis of the interrelation between external migration and social mobility. Migration processes are evaluated as a form of social movement, with an emphasis on their impact at both individual and group levels. Based on empirical survey results, conclusions are drawn regarding the economic, cultural, and social aspects of external migration. The roles of gender and age in migration, as well as changes in social stratification, are also examined.
