This study aims to deepen the understanding of the concept of competence, analyzing its implications for organizations in the contemporary context. To achieve this, it seeks to integrate academic and industrial perspectives, enriching the construction and interpre- tation of this concept within the scope of Information Systems, especially in a world increasingly shaped by Artificial Intelligence.
