Strengthening Criminal Liability for Fraud During Martial Law
Modern society lives in the realities of a brutal war, which is accompanied by significant socio-economic challenges. In the conditions of martial law, the risk of fraudulent activities, mainly aimed at creating chaos and instability, increases significantly. Considering this, there is a need to strengthen criminal liability for such types of crimes. The work examines the issues of improving the current legislation, in particular the introduction of qualifying features of fraud committed during martial law. It is proposed to introduce stricter liability in order to increase the effectiveness of the criminal law fight against fraud and the protection of citizens in wartime conditions.
