Supersolid Dark Matter and the Displacement Theory of Gravity: Curved Spacetime as a Physical Manifestation of Dark Matter Dynamics
In this work, we propose that dark matter is a supersolid Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) that fills the vacuum of space. This supersolid dark matter (SSDM) is displaced by massive objects, and its displacement field corresponds to what we perceive as curved spacetime. Unlike conventional general relativity, where gravity is purely a geometric phenomenon, this model provides a physical medium whose state determines gravitational interactions.A key observational test of this model is the Bullet Cluster, where the separation between ordinary matter and the inferred dark matter distribution suggests a medium-like behavior. We argue that this phenomenon can be understood in terms of SSDM displacement, analogous to the bow waves of colliding boats, where the clusters slow down due to resistance while the displaced medium continues propagating. To formalize this framework, we derive the governing equations for SSDM dynamics and explore their implications for gravitational phenomena.
