Melanoplus Stal 1873

Genus: Melanoplus Stål, 1873 General Description Each of the three new species described here strongly resemble other species in the Puer Group sensu lato, especially those in the Puer Group sensu stricto, to which they are hypothesized to be the most closely related based on general appearance, relative size, and geography. For these reasons, I am currently placing these three new species into the Puer Group sensu stricto.
