Managing and Identifying Seizures in Children
Introduction: Pediatric seizures impact developmental trajectories significantly. This study evaluates combined therapy versus medication alone for managing seizures in children in Kishanganj. Methodology: A two-year prospective observational study involved 80 pediatric patients treated with either single medications or a combination of medications and dietary interventions. Data were analyzed using SPSS software. Results: Combined therapy showed an 85% response rate, outperforming Medication A (75%) and Medication B (50%), with significant improvements noted in neurological, cognitive, and behavioral development. Conclusion: Combined therapy is more effective than medication alone, enhancing seizure control and developmental outcomes in pediatric patients. Recommendation: Clinicians should consider holistic treatment approaches that integrate pharmacological and dietary interventions for optimal management of pediatric seizures.
