Cyber Attack for Optimal Power Flow Control
This study explores the impact of cyber attacks on Optimal Power Flow (OPF) control inmodern power grids. We examine various attack types, including data injection and denial-of-service,that can disrupt power distribution and compromise system stability. Through simulations, wedemonstrate how minor data alterations can lead to significant operational failures. We also proposea framework using machine learning for detecting and mitigating these threats, emphasizing the needfor robust cybersecurity in the energy sector. Our findings highlight the necessity for secure powergrid architectures to enhance resilience against cyber threats.
