The Universe as an Entropy-Dependent Variable: A New Paradigm
This article introduces a novel theoretical framework in which the evolution of the universe is recast in terms of a global entropy variable, Suniv, effectively replacing the conventional time coordinate. Building on concepts from quantum gravity and thermodynamics, the work unifies local (Slocal) and global (Sglob) entropic contributions to define an emergent time that naturally encodes the irreversible arrow of time. The framework offers new interpretations of relativistic effects and gravitational dynamics—recasting phenomena such as time dilation, gravitational lensing, and even black hole singularities in terms of entropic gradients and memory effects. Numerical simulations and analytical models support the hypothesis that, under this paradigm, dark matter, dark energy, and the Hubble tension may be explained by entropic hysteresis and non-Markovian dynamics. Furthermore, the article explores the potential observational signatures of this model, including gravitational echoes and modifications in quasi-normal mode spectra. Overall, the work provides a unifying perspective that bridges quantum information, loop quantum gravity, and cosmology, opening new avenues for both theoretical inquiry and experimental verification.
